How does this decking hold up in extreme cold climate and did anyone have any problems with surface grain wear over a number of years?

It holds up great as far as what happens several years down the road it all depends on how its treated and how much its used. If this is not enough you can go to manufactures web site to find any long term issues or concerns.

I have personally installed 1000's of yards of this particular decking and I have to say it is well worth the extra initial cost. There is no other decking that compares in durability. This dicking also does not contract like wood as well, and never rotts. I have checked back with my clients years after instalation and they had nothing but good things to say. It may cost a little more at first but there is absolutly no maintainence. Well except for cleaning. The only downfall is if you are the type of person that likes to change colors alot. lol!
